Whenever I go to estate sales or antique malls in the small towns outside New Orleans and in southern Mississippi, I'm always looking for these.  
 
This is a vintage Art Nouveau solid brass peacock fan style fireplace screen with a phoenix base.  
 
It's in good vintage shape, it's about 38" wide and 26" tall.  I cleaned it up but didnt really polish it, I think it looks better with a little patina.  
 
I removed the small top handle piece and the side brackets due to rust damage.  I cleaned it up but didn't polish it.
